Draper
Draper has historically been a small farming community, located on the south end of the Salt Lake valley. As a kid, I often rode jeeps up corner canyon, and friends often hunted pheasants through farmers’ corn fields.
Development in Draper really started to take off in the mid to late 90’s, and growth in the area shows no sign of slowing down. Draper is proximate to Utah County, and offers a mid point for those looking to commute either to the downtown area of Salt Lake City, or the newly rising Silicon Slopes area of Utah County.
Draper offers a lot in the way of amenities to its residents. Movie theaters, restaurants, shopping, a bowling alley, fitness centers, and quick access to I-15 while maintaining a quiet, peaceful atmosphere. Communities like Suncrest at the top of the mountain are definite hot spots, and the new Draper High School is the talk of the town. Outstanding mountain biking draws plenty of avid thrill seekers, and trails like Rush and the Ghost Falls trail are area favorites.
If Draper feels like the right place to call home, City Lights Real Estate knows all the little details that will help you settle and feel like you’ve made the right choice.
